Use buttons below to view more information about Kingfisher.

"Kingfisher" is a one-owner immaculately maintained Morris M36 daysailer built for a very experienced sailor who optioned her for simplicity, classic elegance and performance.  With her high aspect ratio fin keel (6'6") and carbon spade rudder, "Kingfisher" is very competitive on the race course yet easily handled by one!  Adorned with high gloss varnished teak cladding on her cabin sides and cockpit combing, "Kingfisher" turns heads in all harbors.  Teak decks, teak on cockpit seats and sole complete the look of a modern classic. Her topsides are flag blue Awl grip paint with gold cove stripe; red bottom and off white gelcoat; a color scheme reminiscent on vintage yachts.  All control lines (main halyard, main reefing line, mainsheet, self-tacking jib sheet, vang & roller furling jib line) are led to the helm below deck and exit thru 6 rope clutches for ease of use by one person at the helm.  Below deck, "Kingfisher" is finished in Herreshoff-style with mahogany trim and white bulkheads.  A small galley to starboard offers a stainless sink with fresh water, a 12v refrigerator and dry storage behind sliding doors.  To port, is an enclosed head w/ manual Raritan toilet, Corian countertop, stainless sink with freshwater and storage in two drawers and sliders outboard of sink.  Amidships are two opposing setees with seating for 6 and the forward berth is sheathed with varnished mahogany strips and all interior cushions are covered with blue Ultrasuade fabric.  Only sailed from a mooring during Maine's short summer season, "Kingfisher" is in outstanding condition, boasts North high performance Marathon 3DL sails (New in 2014) and is likely one of the best M36's available on the market.
