As you know, we love multi-hulls, Mala Conducta launched in 2009 was one of our favorite builds. So we understand why this category continues to gain traction.
Made from state-of-the-art carbon fiber composite materials, Moonwave, a Gunboat 60 catamaran, was designed with excellent sailing performance and luxurious accommodations in mind. She sails on two hulls with hardly any heel, which is important for the comfort and safety of her passengers.
At the same time, she’s capable of blistering speeds, because she has no heavy lead keel, very little wetted surface area (aka drag) and a powerful sail plan. She’s fast and fun in a breeze, but she also makes good time when the wind is light and others have to run the engine.
