"Paradise" was custom built for Bronson Lamb of Lamb's Yacht Center, widely known as the premier yard of Florida under his watch for over 50 years.  "Paradise" has split it's life between Camden, ME and Jacksonville, FL.  Currently, she is stored under cover, in a lift being professionally cared for by the same mechanic since she was built.  She melds perfectly into both the Maine coast and the St. John's River.  If you are looking for a well built, well maintained twin jet cruiser with an exceptional history, here you go.


Layout and Design

The owner, one of the nation's most experienced yachtsmen and a long established marine service provider collaborated with Tom Fexas in the design of "Paradise". North End composites built the hull in Rockland, Maine.  Final assembly was by Pettegrow in Southwest Harbor, Maine. A combination of common sense, traditional design and modern construction techniques. Considerable attention to effective ease of service and operation. Cummins 370 B diesels with Hamilton 274 water jets - reliable, proven performers offering a smooth running alternative, ideal for shallow water running. A good sea boat, dry. Note: Name is reserved.

Insurance survey July 2007 found vessel to be in overall "bristol condition". No regulatory, standards deficiencies or suggested repairs found.

Large aft cockpit with raised seating. Superior access to engine compartment either via electric operated full width hatch or alternativesmaller hatch comprised of raised seating section.   • Vinylester and 1603 bi-directional fiberglass skins either side of a 1.187" Corecell foam core for the basic laminate. Local reinforcement and stiffening using multiple layers of bi-directional laminates in high stress or no core areas of hull. Included in the hull are recesses for trim tabs and jet intakes on the bottom, and recesses for the jet drives on the transom.


  • 6 structural stringers made with 2 lb Urethane foam formers covered with multiple layers of bi-directional FRP laminate and Vinylester resin. Engine bed area of the stringers laminated to approx. 1/2" thickness, the basic laminate thickness being 3/16" to 1/4". Limber holes for proper drainage.


  • 5 major bulkheads, 1 partial bulkhead, and two web frames made with 2 layers of 1603 (3 layers for the engine room bulkhead and engine room floor) either side of 1-1/2" H-100 Divinicell foam core.


  • Forward sole. 1 piece with 2 longitudinal stiffeners and 2 molded in access openings.
  • Bridge deck sole one piece.
  • Cockpit sole 2 piece, inner hinged hatch, outer perimeter with integral drip drain for inner hinged hatch piece


  • One piece construction made with 2 layers of 1603 bi-directional fiberglass material and Vinylester resin either side of Divinicell foam core for the basic laminate, with additional laminate in high-stress or no core areas.
