Use buttons below to view more information about Sierra.
"Sierra" is a well maintained and very nice C & C 37+ double spreader Racer/Cruiser sailboat. She is currently in winter storage but will be rigged and ready to sail for the 2018 summer season. With recently painted decks, cabin house and cockpit, "Sierra" does not look like a 1991 vintage C&C. Equipped with both cruising and racing sails, rod rigging, and hydraulic backstay, "Sierra" is ready to cruise; sail to the Caribbean or race around the bouys in your local waters. An excellent boat for a family looking to step aboard and be sailing quickly without the need for a refit or immediate maintenance
"Sierra" is a 2-cabin cruising/racing sailboat with a large main salon, Galley and navigation station. Her near to mid-ship companionway spills into the center of the boat where the L-shaped galley lays to starboard and the day head/separate shower to port. Forward of the companionway ladder and to port is the aft-facing Nav table and port settee. A u-shaped settee on the starboard side doubles as a 3rd berth with a flip-up leg and filler cushion. Forward of the salon is the v-berth with door enclosure and an opening window in salon bulkhead with louvered doors; giving a very open and airy feeling. Aft of the galley is a large queen-sized centerline berth with lots of storage cabinets and drawers.
Main engine is a Yanmar 3HM 35 water-cooled diesel motor coupled to a transmission, shaft with stuffing box. Equipped with a folding 2-blade Martec prop. Engine hours are not known, as hour meter is not functional. Engine head/and gasket was removed and re-built in recent years. The engine is mechanically sound and runs very well.
