Layout and Design

 Layout and Design

The cockpit offers easy boarding and a roomy walking area.  Directly aft, is a full sidth stern seat.  An engine box allows optimum access to the engine and other mechanicals.  Forward of the box, are two aft facing seats with built in storage cabinets underneath.   Two new custom helm chairs feature drop down seats and shock absorbers, making a fast ride comfortable for the "sorest" of backs.  The helm seat, located to starboard offers good visibility, standing or sitting.

As you walk down through the companionway on the stbd side is the head. Directly across on the port side is the galley and then looking forward you have the spacious forepeak. The interior is Satin varnished Mahogany with white formica. This is a brief description designed to give you a general overview. Please try and make the trip to inspect SUMMER to get a better feel for the layout and beautiful woodworking on which Lyman-Morse has built it's reputation.
