Layout and Design

Construction: 

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean”; re-categorised (7th July 2011) after Nautor repair. 

Hull & Superstructure Construction:

  • E-glass/polyester laminate with vinylester skincoat. Foam cored topsides. Gelcoat finish.
  • Composite structural bulkheads.
  • Hull colour grey with cove stripes and boot top line in white.
  • Reinforcement for installation of passarelle fitting on bathing platform in the middle of bathing ladder fittings.
  • New zinc anodes (2013). 

Deck Construction:

  • Vacuum infused carbon/glass fibre reinforced vinylester deck sandwich laminate foam core.
  • Gelcoat deck finish. Awlgrip painted.
  • Teak deck
  • GRP low profile ‘rolled edge’ bulwark finished with 1 x pair of curved aft fairleads in stainless steel, and additional fairlead for bow. 

Keel & Rudder:

  • Shallow draft keel with 2,70m draft and shallow rudder.
  • Shallow rudder, carbon fibre reinforced rudder stock and blade.
  • Rudder removed and serviced (incl. new seals) in August 2013, at Lyman-Morse. 

Machinery: 

Engine & Gearboxes:

  • Steyr MO166M28 3.2 litre, Inline 6-cylinder, 120kW (163hp).
