LOA: 94"Beam: 22' Draft: 4' Fuel: 5,140 gal Water: 600 gal Power: Twin 2,200hp MTU 16V 2000 M91s Cruise 27 knots Top speed: 31 knots We were more than a little excited about the opportunity to improve on a great boat. Purchased while under construction from the Noyes estate, and launched more than ten years ago, TUMBLEHOME has become one of the most utilized yachts we have ever built. She has made countless runs in all weather conditions between Miami and the Bahamas and longer excursions into the Caribbean. The owner used her for diving, cruising, fishing and as the occasional entertainment platform. Maintained in top-notch condition, but like all things, there was always another thought of how to build a better one. It was the ultimate compliment when the owner asked us to build a new 94' big sister, a 4' larger yacht very similar to TUMBLEHOME which he planned to keep. With his ideas for several new layouts, a sophisticated mechanical system and state-of-the art electronics, we were ready in early spring 2005 to start what would become the largest SCRIMP-built yacht on the East Coast.
Her contemporary style interior, built completely of cored materials with a birch laminate, includes a full saloon with formal dining area and well-equipped galley. The helm station and state-of-the-art navigation center is forward in the deckhouse. On the deck below, accessible by a curving staircase, there is a full-beam master suite with two separate heads. Forward is a spacious full-beam guest stateroom. In the bow there are two crew quarters, each complete with private head and shower. The flybridge is equipped with a dual helm station, wet bar and plenty of space on on-deck storage for small utility craft. ELECTRA, our largest boat to date, is undoubtedly one of our
most important and successful yachts.
