This is a true motorsailer designed to motor through any conditions easily and powerfully without sails, but if a long passage or pleasant afternoon presents itself, WHIZZBANG will sail very well with a great deal of security and enjoyment. She has a leisure furl boom to ease any handling of the main, full electric Lewmar winches in a spacious cockpit, Harken roller furling jib unit, Harken deck hardware and a full line of Simrad electronics.
The motorsailer concept has always been a good one and it was very satisfying to work with the Mckelvy's as they stuck to their original plan throughout. A simple boat, easy to operate, built to withstand the worst of conditions, but very comfortable with only two large cabins either of which could be the master cabin. She can navigate the inland waterway, set across the largest of oceans and poke around in the ice to the north. This is what traditional cruising is all about!

pilothouse for shelter and the interior is wonderfully warm and pleasant
with red birch woodwork and painted bulkheads with a well appointed sea
going galley and a navigation station that is spacious and within easy
communication of the helm station.
